Writ of Possession Coordination

After your Justice of the Peace court judgment, we file the writ of possession and coordinate with the constable's office for scheduling and execution.

The Writ Process

  1. Wait for the statutory post-judgment window (typically 5 days in Texas) to expire without the tenant vacating.
  2. File the writ of possession with the issuing JP court.
  3. Coordinate service and scheduling with the county constable's office.
  4. Support the constable on the execution date — landlord is responsible for movers, locksmith, and supplies.

What We Don't Provide

Movers, locksmith services, storage containers, and cleanup are the landlord's responsibility under Texas law. We coordinate the legal process and constable scheduling.
